Pin It  This is an easy magnetic play set that I made back in August. I started by collecting about fifteen aluminum cans and plastic bottle caps in a variety of colors and sizes. I also found large googly eyes and small plastic slinkies at the dollar store. Using a hot glue gun, I glued magnets onto the googly eyes, slinkies, and bottle caps. We use magnets to hang art in our classroom. Today, while I was switching out the art, one of the children asked if he could see a magnet. I showed him how it sticks to metal. Soon all of the children were asking for magnets. They went around the room looking for metal objects to put their magnets on.
